Ho Chi Minh City Opera House

Ho Chi Minh Opera House belongs to the oldest type of Western European architecture and is considered a tourist attraction of this city.


Saigon Opera House keeps its own unique features. The author of this building is the architects Félix Olivier, Ernest Guichard and Eugène Ferret, built in 1900 in the "flamboyant" architecture of the French Third Republic. The front door is strongly influenced by the art of the Petit Palais built in the same year in France. Modern interior design with full equipment for sound and light. In addition to the ground floor, there are 2 floors with a total of 1800 seats.

All decorative patterns, facade reliefs and interiors were painted by a famous French artist like the models of theaters in France in the late 19th century and sent from France.
