Notre Dame Cathedral
Notre Dame Cathedral Saigon (Cathédrale Notre-Dame de Saïgon). The church is not only a symbol of Catholicism in Vietnam, but also one of the unique architectural works of Ho Chi Minh City, a destination for tourists, a typical image of Vietnam's tourism.
The brick-colored Notre Dame Cathedral was built from about 1863 to 1880. Up to now, the church still retains the perfect original architecture from the French period. The church bell tower up to 60m high always has the solemn and quiet features of the past, in the middle of the busiest center of the city.
Just a 5-minute walk, you can "checkin" at the place that makes Saigon's characteristic and still preserves the most delicate things belonging to the culture of the Indochina period.
